Family Dog Takes Bullet to Save Family
I’ve never been a fan of pit bull dogs. Never. I don’t like them. There’s a few breeds that just make me nervous, and Pit Bulls are one of them. But the above linked article is about a particular pit bull that saved his owner and family’s lives. By taking 3 bullets, one of them to his head. My only wish was that the intruder in this story wasn’t able to run away, and the dog could’ve finished what he’d started! Now the family needs help paying the medical bills of this dog (personally I think home insurance should cover it, at least until the intruder could be found and made to pay).
Anyhow, I say hats off to this amazing animal, and for showing not every one of your breed is all that bad. If interested, the article has the mailing information where you could help pay the medical bills for this wonderful pooch. I’d say he deserves it.
No sausage? WTF?
Ok, so our local Pizza Hut no longer carries sausage.
WTF? Why have they stricken what is arguably the best topping they have from their menu?
Pizza Hut was basically the only pizza joint I’d order from in my town, simply because all of the others only offer thin crust, and I despise thin crust. I guess I’ll be either learning to like thin crust, or just not have pizza very often anymore.
I sent a feedback form on Pizza Hut asking them why they’ve done this, and if it’s a local thing or franchise-wide. We’ll see if they respond, and I’ll post back here if/when they do.
Until then….good bye sausage..and good bye Pizza Hut..you will be missed..a little…
First Tidbit
I will be posting occassional tidbits of informations I’ve found. I’ll write a post when they’re new, and add them to the Tidbits Page for a complete listing of them. This particular tidbit is my first.
Pupillometrics (the study of pupils) has demonstrated that when you look at an image of a person, your puils dilate to the same diameter as the person’s in the picture. Isn’t that slick? You’ll find yourself testing this one out, I bet.
How Long?
How long will this site last in it’s current form? Who knows? I don’t.
